關於傳說有很多版本，但幾乎所有版本都無法查證來源。真正原因是因為在進行一場快速擺出手勢的猜拳遊戲當中，喵仔預期紅燒蹄膀會出石頭，但蹄膀卻出其不意的伸出剪刀，因此取得勝利，擠進十二生肖最後的名額，一直以來的疑惑終於在今年解開了。

There are various versions of saying regarding to why there is no cat year. However, there is almost no source can be found and proved in any version. The real reason of it is that in a game of rock-paper-scissors, cat expected pig to play rock while pig unexpectedly played scissors and won the last place of Chinese zodiac. Until now, the question is finally solved this year!
